Stampin' Up! Review of 2017 Part IV

Hello, here I am with the final part of my Review of 2017 - I hope you have enjoyed looking back over the last 12 months with me on my Stampin' Up! journey.

October

October saw the launch of my Stampin' Blends Club - all spots were taken in record time (thank you ladies)!  I will be launching another club starting in January so look out for my first update post of 2018.

Craftyduckydoodah!, Review of 2017 Part IV, Stampin' Up! UK Independent Demonstrator Susan Simpson, Supplies available 24/7 from my online store,

Lots of Christmas cards made at C & C sessions this month - several of them using Pretty Pines which is one of my go to stamp and die sets.  However, my favourite project was a very quick and simple card made with a set called Cheers to the Years.

November
The month started with my popular Christmas Project Day.  Two projects on offer and a lovely lunch at my new venue (Bests Coffee Shop, St Ives) set everyone off the a good start with their Christmas prep.

The following weekend I attended On Stage in Birmingham where I got to see the upcoming Spring / Summer and Sale-a-Bration brochures.  I also received lots of fabulous swaps from other Demos.

I was astounded to discover that I was to achieve recognition for leadership and recruiting and, that I was number 44 in the UK too!

My favourite and my crafty ladies most popular project for November was this one in an unusual colour scheme!

Lots of my crafty ladies made 'extras' of this project and I also had to offer an additional session the following week for two new ladies.  I posted the project on a local craft forum and was stunned to receive an order for 24 cards!

During November I also started weekly craft sessions at a care home in St Ives.  I absolutely love visiting and crafting with a group of ladies there.

We have made a variety of projects ranging from cards (of course) gift boxes and beaded tree decorations.

Zena really looks forward to her craft sessions - she waits in Reception for me as soon as she has finished breakfast (usually with a large cappuccino in hand)!

I'm busy planning lots of fun things for these lovely ladies to do in 2018 - I can't wait!

December

At the beginning of December I took part in the very first Joy of Sets Blog hop.

I chose to use the Hearts Come Home bundle for my project.

Hearts Come Home was used for C & C sessions and two Workshops too.  The card below proved to be very popular and I was happy to repeat the Workshop for another group of crafty ladies.  The card looks complicated but it is easy once you know how honestly!

This card was made by Emma - it was the first time she had ever attended a Workshop with me!  Emma chose to colour her trees using the Stampin' Blends for a slightly different look - don't they look lovely?

Craftyduckydoodah!, Review of 2017 Part IV, Stampin' Up! UK Independent Demonstrator Susan Simpson, Supplies available 24/7 from my online store,

I have really enjoyed looking back over my blog posts for the last 12 months - this time of year is always a reflective time for me as I start to plan for the New Year.

There are lots of exciting things about to happen in the world of Stampin' Up! - I will have an update post for you very soon so that you don't miss anything.

Happy crafting and a Happy New Year!
